Water park Aquopolis Torrevieja
Aquopolis Torrevieja — a day of water fun on the Costa Blanca
When the heat really kicks in on the Costa Blanca, the beach isn't the only way to cool down. At Aquopolis, you can spend the whole day in the water: racing down thrilling slides, diving into pools, competing with friends and simply relaxing in the shade of the trees.
This large 90,000 m² outdoor water park in Torrevieja is especially popular with families and anyone who enjoys water attractions. There are extreme slides for adults and teenagers, as well as quieter areas for younger children.
Slides for adrenaline seekers
The main attraction at Aquopolis is, of course, its water slides. Some of them look impressive even from below, and after the first ride, you may well want to get straight back in line for another go.
Kamikaze is a high-speed slide for thrill seekers. If you enjoy the feeling of free-falling and reaching top speed, it's a great place to start exploring the park.
Boomerang combines speed with sharp changes in direction and the feeling that you're about to be sent flying back upwards.
On Black Hole, much of the ride takes place almost completely in the dark. The tunnel hides the twists and turns, so you never know what's coming next.
For groups of friends, Hydro Racer is particularly fun: several people race down parallel lanes at the same time, competing to reach the finish first.
What if you're visiting with children?
Young visitors have their own water area, Mini Park. It features a shallow pool, water games and a large play castle — everything younger children need if they're not quite ready for the biggest slides yet.
This makes it easy for the whole family to enjoy the park: children can play in their own area while teenagers and adults head off to tackle the more thrilling attractions.
You can also simply relax by the water
You don't have to spend the whole day queuing for slides. Aquopolis has swimming pools, a wave pool and a lazy river where you can unwind after the more exciting attractions.
The park is quite green, so you can escape the sun and relax in the shade between swims and slides. When you get hungry, there are cafés and restaurants inside the park.
How much does it cost?
Ticket prices depend on the date. In the 2026 season, online tickets start at around €23. Children under 100 cm tall enter free of charge.
It's best to buy your tickets in advance through the official website, as prices can vary depending on the date you choose.

When to go and what to bring
- If you want to ride as many slides as possible, arrive at opening time. As the day goes on, more visitors arrive and queues at the most popular attractions get longer.
- On sunny days, make sure to bring sunscreen, a hat, a towel and water shoes. It's also worth checking the height restrictions before your visit, as they vary between attractions.
- If you're visiting during peak season and want to spend most of your day on the rides, you can also buy a Speedy Pass to reduce waiting times. However, it is fairly expensive compared with the price of the entrance ticket.
Is Aquopolis Torrevieja worth visiting?
The water park is a great option if you want to take a break from the usual beach routine and do something more active. You can get your adrenaline fix on the extreme slides, cool off in the water, relax in the shade and spend the whole day with your family.
It's particularly enjoyable on the hottest days of summer: the water, green surroundings and constant activity make the high temperatures much easier to handle.
Aquopolis Torrevieja is the kind of place where an ordinary hot day on the Costa Blanca can easily turn into a little summer adventure.
